Do you know ? We see a brief explanation in the following article :
PDCA ( Plan, Do , Check and Action ) is a cycle of activity that allows everyone to think and talk about their work in a consistent way and create a continuous improvement activity .
In the PLAN phase , the process begins with check or capture the current situation, identify problems . This process usually takes the longest time , because in addition to identifying problems , also explore some important information and map the ideal process with the process.
Cycle PDCA or Plan - Do - Check - Action popularized by W Edwards Deming ( October 14, 1900 - December 20 1993) Associate Professor , Book Author , Lecturer and Consultant . He is considered the father of modern quality control so that the cycle is often referred to as the Deming cycle . PDCA Cycle or Cycle ' Plan - Do - Check - Follow up is a four-step problem-solving process which is commonly used in quality control .
Deming PDCA cycle is the originator of the saying that if an organization wants to produce the quality of products or services to be produced , then the wheel should spin the PDCA cycle . That is , the process of Plan Do Check Action should be executed . Work should be planned . Plans have been made to be run . Implementation of the work is monitored , measured or assessed . Assessment results analysis , the analysis results are used to plan the next development . So forth so the running and organization of the PDCA cycle will always be able to meet the quality standards and developing a sustainable manner.
PDCA cycle can be likened to a ball that should push up towards the direction of the destination set is located on top . It required effort and energy that does little to achieve that goal . Without effort , the PDCA cycle is impossible ball will reach its destination . This suggests that to achieve a certain quality that should be pursued , cultivated and supported by all stakeholders . Good quality may not come by itself . PDCA cycle gives us the stages of the process of solving problems that are scalable and accurate . PDCA cycle is effective for :
